Entries are now open for the Sheffield DocFest 2022 Films and Alternate Realities programmes. They welcome entries from all around the world, to the 29th edition of our festival – taking place 23 – 28 June 2022. Standard Fee until 11 February 2022  and a late fee submission til 4 March 2022.

The Film Programme is open to documentary and non-fiction films of all lengths, from short to feature-length films, that wish to be considered for launching or premiering as part of our 2022 official selection. Click here for more information on how to submit your work.

Alternate Realities Programme welcomes artworks and projects in non-fiction storytelling and encourages entries from independent artists and collectives, and from established artists or emerging new talent from around the world. They accept entries in a range of formats including: 360° video; artificial intelligence; audio and sound; augmented reality; game; installation; interactive documentary; motion comic; moving image, video or expanded cinema; performance;  virtual reality; and more.  Click here for more information on how to submit your artwork.
