docLOVE is a monthly documentary film screening program and facilitated discussions. We provide an interactive space for engagement, while at the same time celebrating  creative documentary films. The DFA has partnered with four cinema spaces to bring free documentary screenings to audiences in Cape Town,  Johannesburg and Makhanda. Soon we will be adding East London, Polokwane, Durban and Bloemfontein to our screening locations. We look forward to seeing you there.

docLOVE is planning a new season of documentary screenings with the support of PESP4 which will include feature and short documentaries. Films must have either a South Africna producer or director and have premiered no earlier than 2021. Filmmakers will receive a screening fee of R3000 per feature length film selected; or R1000 per short film selected; which includes 1 screening in each of our 8 screening venues around the country. All screenings are followed by a facilitated discussion.
