While we are far from the firing line, no person will be unaffected by the war in Ukraine. An injustuce to one is an injustice to all. The DFA Board would like to show solidarity with war-affected communities by alerting members to the following avenues of support:

THE INTERNATIONAL COALITION FOR FILMMAKERS AT RISK

The International Coalition for Filmmakers at Risk, the partnership established by the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) and the European Film Academy to act as the film community’s collective response to cases of filmmakers facing severe risk, has set up a special “Emergency Fund for Filmmakers” for film practitioners directly in danger due to the ongoing war in Ukraine. The Coalition and the Fund have been canvassing for funding and donations since the war broke out. If you wish to support the work of the International Coalition for Filmmakers at Risk, you can make a donation to the Emergency Fund for Filmmakers here
